How do I install a microphone?
First of all you need to make sure that your microphone is connected to the computer. On a laptop there is usually a microphone integrated but for best performance you should use an external.
The connection to the sound card requires an 1/8 inch phone plug. Adapters to change from an 1/4 inch plug to the 1/8 inch plug are available at stores.
When you select a song to sing you will be able to test your microphone.
