Welcome to singing lesson nr 4.
Now that you start to understand the body's impact on sang and singing technique, it is time to start singing with the support. Have you ever heard that you should sing with your stomach or support? That's right! When you are singing, it is important that power comes from the muscles around the abdomen and not your throat. If you forget to sing with support, it is easy to get injured and become hoarse.
When you sing exercise number 4, you should focus on your support. Your stomach should be drawn in and then out again for each "ha". It is important that you have time to relax your stomach between each "ha". The whole exercise will be very bouncy and full of energy. It can be difficult to get a perfect pitch for all "ha" but it is ok if it sounds crazy sometimes. The important thing is that you become aware of how your use your support.
